About DCPB Preschool
The Daughters of Charity of the Most Precious Blood Preschool, located at 1490 North Avenue, Bridgeport, is a non-profit preschool licensed by the State of Connecticut, OEC and recognized by the City of Bridgeport.
We promote enrollment of children from diverse communities. All, regardless of race, ethnicity, socio-economic, and religious backgrounds are welcome into our program.
The Daughters of Charity of the Most Precious Blood Preschool (DCPB Preschool) provides care to children ages 3-5 years old with quality care fostering their cognitive, social, moral, and spiritual growth engaging the whole child. The curriculum aligns with the (CT ELDs) which supports the children’s early learning and development providing a strong scholastic background for their future.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We, the Daughters of Charity of the Most Precious Blood: DCPB Preschool are dedicated to providing high-quality and appropriate programs with an exceptional foundation for the holistic development of the children. The staff is committed to the education and development of the whole child by nurturing their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual wellness.
Our goal is to prepare children for school through appropriate hands-on learning experiences and activities that promote growth. What we aim to achieve is to bring about a greater degree of social competence through respect for the individual child and others. This is carried out in a safe, caring, nurturing, loving, and healthy environment where children feel secure and can thrive.
In an effort to promote consistency between DCPB Preschool and your home we encourage open communication so as to ensure participation in your child's learning and development.
